The Drake emerged in a dark hallway. The boisterous sounds of drunken festivity echoed in his ears. A smile crept to his thin lips, this was going to be fun, and how he did enjoy turning a room on its head.
The sound of small feet scraping wood rose, as a small figure bolted around the corner ahead of the dragon. A rain of empty tin steins clanged in the hallway. The figure yelped and slammed into the Drake Leone. It startled by the ring of steins as they pelted the nearby wall.
The small goblin realized his situation had gotten much worse as he sat on the floor stared up at Drake Leone. He winced instinctively and excepted a throttle for such an outrage.
“Well, it seems I have a new bargoblin. You should know the previous bargoblin met his demise by my hands.” Drake Leone grinned like a reptile, “What is your name vermin?”
“Xunbu,” the goblin replied, his large red glowing eyes full of fear.
“Xunbu, I would suggest you get this mess cleaned up. Then tell your master, Toms, to stop counting his coffers and get down here, Drake Leone has come to call.”
