“You are in violation of Law 12 and are under arrest.” An EEPS commander stated with authority, which entered behind the others. Sethel looked at him. He could not place his face among the officers he had met, during any of his previous detainments.
“Law 12 is murder of an EEPS officer. You are about to arrest wrong fellow” Sethel remarked as he began to sweat.
“Where is Robin Fairborn?” The Commander’s voice tainted with anger.
“He has long since left and I have not killed anyone.”
The satyr watched in horror as the commander pulled out a spell gun. He fired it twice, a bolt of lightning flashed each time. The two EEPS patrolmen guarding Sethel fell dead at his feet. Sethel screamed and dared not move.
“Correction, two violations of Law 12, you are going to hang for this.” The commander remarked. While still holding the gun and with his other hand retrieved his baton. It hummed to life as he raised it.
“Who are you and what is this about?” Sethel cried.
“Drake Leone does not like betrayal, be glad you are only arrested for now.”
“Drake Leone who is he?” Sethel grinned, knowing full well he was in grave danger.
The commander’s baton flared, and the room flashed bright blue. Sethel’s head seared with pain as the baton struck his temple. Sethel fell from the blow. Melodic laughter rang in his ears. Sethel thought of his friend Robin once more, before darkness overtook him.
